JTC is a major logistics and heavy equipment rental company headquartered in Kuwait with operations in Kuwait, Qatar and KSA. One of the key challenges faced by JTC is the abundance of paper-based processes and the inability to track the transactions. The coordination among various departments in the company was manual and it created higher turn-aroundtimes for their key transactions. JTC implemented Pistaceo based process automation and document management to improve their process efficiency.
The major processes automated at JTC include Procurement, Vendor payments and HR clearances. JTC has a high volume procurement process where a large number of purchase orders are created, approved and sent out everyday. Since there is a complex approval process where many players are involved, manual paper-based routing was very inefficient and difficult to track. With the Pistaceo solution, JTC is able to process POs faster thus reducing the turnaround-times and increasing the ability to track. Similarly the HR clearances for their large workforce is now streamlined with the Pistaceo based workflows. Additionally, JTC is using the document management features to capture and manage all their documents. The ability to get notified on document expiry provides significant productivity boost to their Legal and HR teams.
